I've done two 3.10.x upgrades to 4.0.1 and run into problems both times
so far.

 

The first one I did was a 3.10.1 and the second was 3.10.3.

 

I haven't dug too far in but at a minimum sipxsupervisor is not getting
installed.

 

Here's a log of what I've done on the 3.10.3 system.
