Winson I, among others, have been working on the phone plugin for the Linksys SPA941 and 942. The plugin allows to provision most of the phone parameters; some user parameters and directory data are missing, IIRC. There seems to be a problem with capitalization of the generated file (sipXconfig generates uppercase files but phone expects lowercase or vice versa). I've never tested the phone with advanced call features. Adding a parameter "plugin status" or "plugin quality" (QA tested, untested, experimental) to all the device plugins would make it easier to choose supported phones depending on quality of the plugin (as seen by the plugin developer). The plugin status could then be listed in the selection box in sipXconfig. The Linksys plugin would probably get "experimental" or "untested". -- mike _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
