Thanks for your reply Mike and everyone else.

After a little research it looks like the Viking PA-30 ($180) has a 
FXS/FXO connection where as the Valcom V-2001a ($150) was FXO only. 
Both cost about the same.  It would appear with a cheap ATA like 
Grandstream HT286 ($30) it would be easier and cheaper to setup an 
extension and add the Viking to a paging group.

I liked the speaker selection better for the Valcom as it has 2x2 
ceiling model but the are almost twice as much as the circular speakers 
from Viking.
