After a little research it looks like the Viking PA-30 ($180) has a FXS/FXO connection where as the Valcom V-2001a ($150) was FXO only. Both cost about the same. It would appear with a cheap ATA like Grandstream HT286 ($30) it would be easier and cheaper to setup an extension and add the Viking to a paging group. I liked the speaker selection better for the Valcom as it has 2x2 ceiling model but the are almost twice as much as the circular speakers from Viking. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gerald > Drouillard > Sent: Tuesday, September 01, 2009 9:22 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [sipx-users] SipX In a School > > We have sipx systems installed in a school with over 60 extensions.
