Hi all, I just want the sipXecs working in LAN, I'm installed it to a PC, this PC IP address is 192.168.1.100, the netmask is 255.255.255.0, the LAN gateway is 192.168.1.1, the DHCP service is on 192.168.1.1 also, no DNS service, this gateway is a internet DSL connection, when I install the sipXecs, how to config it for below parameters ? 1: Host name. Can I set the host name as my like ? likes testlabs.edu ? 2: Domain name. Can I set this domain name as my like ? 3: DHCP server. How to config the DHCP server? 4: DNS. Do I must install the DNS service during install the sipXecs? 5: If I just the PBX working as the IP addss, likes sip:[email protected]<sip%[email protected]>, how to config above parameters?
I'm a newbie, I have tried install the 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 ISO two times, but always got it can't working. Please help me. Thank all in advance.
