At first I installed sipx behind our firewall (1:! NAT) inside our datacenter, and the sip phone is connecting from another network (home). The phone is able to register to the server. i have setup gafachi as a gateway, but in SBC i wasn't sure what to put, so I created an unmanaged SBC (then later tried the internal sipxbrodge-1 with no luck) and put in gafachi's IP there as well. that didn't work.
so after playing with the settings all night, I decided to reinstall, but this time outside the firewall. Now it has a public IP. The sipphone can still register. I did not configure SBC since it's not longer doing NAT. Now I can make calls from the sip phone but there is no sound coming through.... As for incoming (also gafachi for origination of 8xx number), still no luck. Also, I would prefer to put the box behind the firewall. Any advice?
