I'm having issues where a particular type of SIP User Agent cannot successfully subscribe for MWI notifications. Basically SIPXecs keeps coming back with a 407 Proxy Authentication required response to SUBSCRIBE messages sent from the SIP UA (these messages also include Digest Authentication data). If I use X-Lite however, SUBSCRIBE messages are successfully authenticated and MWI notifications work as expected.
I had a look at the various logs in /var/log/sipxpbx but could not find any related messages in any log files - for example, sipregistrar.log file did not contain any errors for the failed SUBSCRIBE authentication responses, even though logging level is set to DEBUG. Any ideas how I can get debugging type logging output for the failed SUBSCRIBE authentication attempts?
