Hi all, Regarding the "Polycom Firmware 3.2.1" thread we had going back in October of last year...
1. I've finally raised a JIRA to cover the enhancement detailed in the http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/msg17622.html post. http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-7401 : Activate multiple Polycom firmware version, select which version to run from phone "Firmware" config setting 2. Polycom has released 3.1.4, but it cannot be activated with sipXecs 4.0. i.e. This won't work: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/msg17596.html The problem is that the actual firmware file in the Polycom "split" and "combined" ZIP packages unexpectedly have "_314" in them, e.g.: 2345-11605-001.sip_314.ld and sip_314.ld. The Polycom phones do not know this, so they'll be looking for e.g. 2345-11605-001.sip.ld and sip.ld, which of course will fail. If you really need to deploy 3.1.4, then I think you'll need to use a hacked ZIP package in which the firmware file(s) have been renamed to remove the "_314". BTW, the plan is that XX-7401 will handle the renaming for you. I hope this information is helpful.
