I am trying to install a certificate from a recognized certificate authority,
so my users won't get the warning from the default self-signed certs.

I purchased a cert from Godaddy, but I have been having a lot of difficulty
installing it. The first challenge is that there are 3 different instructions
on how to do this (there 's one on sipfoundry, one on the WIKI plus the one in
the sipx web interface). Second, in all of these, they don't clearly
differentiate the process between generating self-signed certs and installing
external certs.

After many challenges seemingly overcome, I was able to step through the whole
process the docs seemed to indicate without errors. Unfortunately, after this,
I cant even load the sipx web interface!

Can anyone help me out with the steps required to install a cert from an
outside authority? Can I just follow standard Apache procedures, or should I
use special sipx scripts? Is it also necessary to install the cert in a Java
keystore? If so, where exactly should that be located.

Thanks!

Jeff
