I doubt it will make a difference but in the dial plan entry for
voicemail did you change the extension length to 4?

Subject: [sipx-users] Indirect Extension Dialing (via Auto Attendent)
notworking

Hi,

I have a fresh install of 4.0.4-017289 on ecs-centos5. Everything works
fine except for indirect extension dialing. I can dial extensions
directly from one phone to another. However, if I dial in from outside,
the auto-attendent picks up, I dial the extension, but all I get is
silence. I'm trying to figure out if I've done something stupid (like
forgotten to edit a dial plan or an auto attendent configuration step) ?
:)

There are only two non-standard things about this setup:

1. It is using 4 digit extensions

2. Its running on an FC12 system with the ECS-Centos5 install running
within a chroot.

The reason for #2, is that the dedicated server provider we are using
did not offer CentOS or an earlier version of FC that worked with the
ECS build. So rather than trying to mess with it from source, we did a
local ECS-Centos5 install, tarred it up and installed it as a chroot.
This lead to a few small things, like voicemail did not work because the
Apache configuration did not allow the external IP of the server to
access the voicemail cgi-bin scripts etc.

So I'm hoping someone will either reply back with DOH, and tell me what
I forgot, or hook me up with some tips to go troubleshoot this
particular issue! :)

Thanks
