There was nothing mentioned in your earlier email about GUI. It stated
"between sipx lack of diagnostics". It's not accurate. Yes, it does
require going to the command line. It does take some skill. It does take
some expertise. No, it doesn't do the dishes for you at the same time. But
they are there, they are useable.

Is there a system out there that does all of this for you in a GUI? I've
not seen it yet. Maybe people are leaving sipXecs in droves to use that
new, more intuitive system with everything in the GUI.

Have you looked at the features for 4.2 yet?

diagnostics?
not bloody useful for anything at all, unless you drop to cli, do tcpdump or
wireshark traces, or use siptrace (and X windows to follow it)

so, where in the GUI would I see anything at all? including that the trunk
wasn't even registered anymore?
heck, where in the GUI would I see that the trunk registered?

needed to watch wireshark and registrations failing, then I got a new
account password.

then.. when I tried to use skype sip for ip (instead of username/password),
you can't even see packets.

so, where would I look in the GUI to see that the trunk is registered or
not?
