When you try to dial voicemail from a line where it doesn't work, try
tailing the apache logs and see what happens. I had a similiar issue
and it turned out the apache server was denying the request.

after various re-arrangements of the lines (order), it seems some
are working fully, some are having this voicemail/internal extension
iussue (and still calling externaly fine), with a trace i can see
the invite's being sent from the phone to sipx, there dosen't seem
to be any consistency with which ones work and which don't, I will
further investigate this and establish some more info.
these lines are also attached to other phones and work fine. it
could be a firmware bug with 8.3.5 for this 7970, not sure at this
stage.

I'm chuckling. I don't know how to begin. Did you get a call trace?

Subject: [sipx-users] cisco 7970G every second line is odd
this is a odd one (well even actually), i've setup a 7970G talking
to sipx
with 8.3.5 sip firmware, now every odd numbered line (1,3,5,7) can
call a
extension and when pressing the voicemail button, connect to
voicemail fine,
however every even numbered line (2,4,6,8) cannot, when you press
voicemail,
it does nothing, you can't even dial voicemail manually, or any
internal
extension (3 digit alias), but you can dial externaly or call the
10 digit
number internally....
the xml.cnf is fine, voicemail is in set all lines, etc.
any suggestions, or debugging ideas?
Regards,
Ben
