I was trying to take advantage of google 411 (redirecting anyone who
calls 411) and thought the easiest place to put this is in dial plan.
I created a custom dial plan, 411, and tried to put this in resulting call[]
[email protected]
I got this error:
Only a limited set of characters is valid in SIP URLs. Spaces and some
special characters are not allowed. For example: 321, joedoe, joe!?~*222
(and, what character in the above is NOT a valid sip url?)
system is default 4.04 from CENTOS5 build.
oh, if this HAD worked. would I need to have selected a gateway for
this to go out of? I assume sipxbridge-1 would block it.
and, ps, this works great in an individual speed dial, makes a direct
internet (sip) call without using any of your ITSP's (which it would do
if I used just the number)
and, if you have a softclient, something like x-lite you can click on
this and it will dial is just fine:
sip:[email protected]
so, why can I enter this into the local phone directory as a valid sip
url, but not in the dialplan as resulting call?
