I don't think ring volume will stick... none will stick through a reboot... only from call to call...

Handsfree is checked, and that is sticking between calls. Handsfree is not sticking through a reboot and I don't see any option for ring volume sticking. Am I missing something? Select, if you are using Polycom, firmware Version to 2.0 5. Click on Voice/Codecs on the left 6. Scroll down to section labeled Volume Persistence 7. Enable the options you'd like to persist between calls 8. Click OK when completed. 9. Re-generate profiles and reset phones. This is a medical clinic and I have had to turn the ringer volume all the way up and the speaker phone volume all the way up (for paging purposes) to meet their needs. At reboot, these 2 settings are defaulting back to normal levels. I have changed the permissions allowing the phones to upload their settings (see below). The ring tone selection is sticking, so I believe that is successful. Is there a way to make these other 2 options stick as well? Sorry if this is an obvious one - I didn't search the right terms if it is. /var/sipxdata/configserver/phone/profile/tftproot [r...@pbx tftproot]# ls -lsrt 0004f2295486* 88 -rw-rw-r--+ 1 PlcmSpIp PlcmSpIp 79057 Apr 6 10:33 0004f2295486-boot.log 8 -rw-rw-r--+ 1 PlcmSpIp PlcmSpIp 111 Apr 6 10:55 0004f2295486-phone.cfg 8 -rw-rw-r--+ 1 sipxchange sipxchange 1007 Apr 6 11:32 0004f2295486.cfg 20 -rw-rw-r--+ 1 sipxchange sipxchange 13664 Apr 6 11:32 0004f2295486-sipx-sip.cfg 20 -rw-rw-r--+ 1 sipxchange sipxchange 15292 Apr 6 11:32 0004f2295486-sipx-phone.cfg 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 sipxchange sipxchange 447 Apr 6 11:32 0004f2295486-sipx-device.cfg 8 -rw-rw-r--+ 1 sipxchange sipxchange 217 Apr 6 11:32 0004f2295486-directory.xml 196 -rw-rw-r--+ 1 PlcmSpIp PlcmSpIp 190120 Apr 6 11:35 0004f2295486-app.log [r...@pbx tftproot]# cat 0004f2295486-phone.cfg <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?> <PHONE_CONFIG> <OVERRIDES attendant.ringType="10"/> Thanks, Matthew _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/ -- ====================== Tony Graziano, Manager Telephone: 434.984.8430 Fax: 434.984.8431 Email: [email protected] LAN/Telephony/Security and Control Systems Helpdesk: Telephone: 434.984.8426 Fax: 434.984.8427 Helpdesk Contract Customers: http://www.myitdepartment.net/gethelp/ Why do mathematicians always confuse Halloween and Christmas?
