The better way to ask the question is:
Does voip.ms support static ip (in lieu of registration) on port 5080?
It is perhaps best to ask voip.ms directly.
yes, it does. inbound, outbound, everything works fine, but when I do
that, I can't transfer calls.
its better then in 4.0.4, which just hung the call. At least in 4.2.0 I
can recover the failed call.
If voip.ms can't support it, than that is one thing.
If generically, sipx can't support static registrations than that is
another issue.
My hopes is that these is someone on this list that has a different
provider, using static registrations (on port 5080).
If it works for them, then I will do traces and report here and voip.ms.
