To me the notion of jobs and sending of profiles seems to be too much technical detail. Conceptually the administrator is "updating" phones not sending profiles (which is the how "updating" is implemented).
So .. After I press "update all phones" I should subsequently get an asynchronous pop up saying "all phones updated" or in the case of partial failure: "45 out of 89 phones updated, press 'details' for more information". This could be done with some ajax code added to every page. I know .. easier said then done.
