a CC terminal communicates via modem, you take digital signals (the

using G.711 ). then sip takes the analog back to digital, then at the

Delays, data loss, anything can mess it up.
eg: don't use modems through a sip trunk. use through a pstn only.
if you MUST, drop the cc terminal to 1200 baud.
