I'd be interested in hearing why this is not acceptable in your environment.  
If your using siptrunking you already need to open ports in your firewall as 
well as if you give users the ability to manager their web portal remotely.

Not saying you do not have a valid reason, just like to hear how sipx works or 
doesn't work for each environment.
