I am trying to get sipXecs 4.2.1, 64 bit, working behind my router.
The sipx machine does not run DHCP and DNS.

The internal IP address (10.0.0.2) is specified in the server settings under
the Configure tab.
The public IP address (1.2.3.4) is specified in the server settings under
the NAT tab.
My sipx machine is available through one-to-one NAT on a public IP address
(1.2.3.4).
Except for SIP Proxy, all services start fine.

SIP Proxy will not start, because the configuration test failed with this
error:
SIP route to SIPXCHANGE_DOMAIN_NAME 'sip.mydomain.com' is not to my IP
address: 10.0.0.2
See the installation guide on setting the DNS SRV records and domain names

I have updated the DNS based on the outcome of the DNS advisor
(diagnostics).
The NAPTR lines are not added (since my DNS/ISP does not allow NAPTR
records).

The DNS advisor suggests that there should be a A record pointing to my
'internal IP':
; A record for sip.mydomain.com
;
sip.mydomain.com. IN A 10.0.0.2

Although my current A record points to the public IP address, and not to the
suggested internal IP address.

Which things should I adjust so that the sipx machine recognizes that is
lives behind NAT and does not have the public IP address available on eth0?

Any help or suggestions would be more than welcome!

Gawin

ps. And yes, I did spend quite some time googling and trying different
solutions, but non seem to be the solution for my problem.
