I am designing a new system that will use POTS lines from Verizon. I have been on the phone with Verizon to get a Quote on the POTS lines that I need them to install for the SipX based system. They are recommending that I get their CustoPAK features with the lines. I am thinking that this would be a waist of money with a SipX system, but I am not sure. The CustoPAK gives all the calling features like Call Transfer, Hold, Three Way Calling, Caller ID, and more of those kinds of things... Without CustoPAK the lines are just a plain line with a dial tone. Does CustoPak have any benefit with a SipX based solution or are these features a waste of money that simply will never be used?
