You will find that registering on the mailing list gets your
questions to a wider audience. FWIW - The subject line
doesn't have anything to do with the questions you asked
actually. Asking specific questions that have a related
subject, and subscribe to the list for a broader audience
would help you a lot.

Question:( Most Important )

Yes: If you use a phantom user and call forward it you can
set the destination AND the ring duration (in seconds, not
in rings, because sip does not count rings).

How can I delay the IVR before it is been answered. What we
want to do is let it ring 3 or 4 times and then the IVR to
pick up.

Next question.

Yes: You will find posting this to the mailing list will get
you some assistance. You should NOT mix questions, because
it will mean your unrelated questions might go unanswered.

I am trying to provision a Cisco 7970g with firmware 8.4.2
loaded on it. It works with asterisk, It can download the
config file from sipxecs but it will never register. What
could be causing the no registration?

Yes: For simplicity, it uses the default polycom configs so
when the phone is unpacked out of the box it can be deployed
without any real changes. These settings are in the FTP
server. It would mean you have to change the configs on the
phone too.

And finally is there a way I can have different user names
and passwords for the FTP to provision polycom phones?

Thanks in Advance
