Subject: [sipx-users] changed internal ip address. now no audio

tested sipx on the our local network. now, I want to put it into our
voice lan.

local ip WAS 192.168.10.2

I want to change ip to 10.64.0.2 now that I finally have everything working.

thought I found everything, saw several posts about /etc/hosts, network
services scripts.

I got it to boot on the right ip, with the right netmask and gateway.
ITSP's are talking to it just fine, but no audio in, our, or even locally.

calling from a local phone to AA, AA answers, but I get no audio

what I do get is this: where 204.89.241.150 is the public ip. I am
assuming that sipxbridge-1 didn't get fixed?

2010-07-27 16:25:06.414763    10.64.0.2 -> 204.89.241.150 UDP Source
port: 12494 Destination port: 30244 [UDP CHECKSUM INCORRECT]

I did a backup, and untared the backup, and untared the db, and looked
for the old ip and didn't find it.

DNS records are ok, (checked . got valid _tcp and _ucp records. its
windows, so no NAPTR records)
also, I don't have a sips_ record: (do I need one)?

dig -t SRV _sips._tcp.secnap.com

and from inside, they point to the right ip.

on sipx:
under system->servers got 10.64.0.2 as the right ip.
under system->domains I have these aliases:  10.64.0.2 204.89.241.150
and sip.secnap.com
under intranet calling, I have *.secnap.com and 10.64.0.0/22. (yes, 22.
is that a problem?) I wanted room for ~1000 phones if needed.

under diagnostics tests, I fail DHCP (using a dhcp server on sipx). it
can't find a sip server. I didn't see that option in instructions on
setting up the dhcp server on the sipx server. ( have tried ALL kinds of
options in the dhcpd.conf file and it won't restart anymore.
(I took option sip-servers-name code 120 out.
<http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-5640>

this didn't work:
   option sip-servers-name    "sip.secnap.com";

this didn't work:
  option sip-servers-name code 120 = text;
  option sip-servers-name    "sip.secnap.com";

this didn't work:
option sip-servers code 120 = { integer 8, ip-address };
option sip-servers 1 10.64.0.2;

rebooted (a couple of times) all services start, and arn't complaining
about anything.
