I always reinstall and import user and phones. I find trying to chanhe ip's or domain names VERY problematic (certificates, pintokens, etc.) If you are not changing the domain name an export/import will get you a good deal there (on a reinstall).
I always use an ip address in sip server name. Look at your messages log (/var/log/messages) when you restart dhcpd and it will tell you what line it didn't like. ============================ Tony Graziano, Manager Telephone: 434.984.8430 Fax: 434.984.8431 Email: [email protected] LAN/Telephony/Security and Control Systems Helpdesk: Telephone: 434.984.8426 Fax: 434.984.8427 Helpdesk Contract Customers: http://www.myitdepartment.net/gethelp/ ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael Scheidell <[email protected]> To: Tony Graziano <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] <[email protected]> Sent: Tue Jul 27 16:58:20 2010 Subject: Re: [sipx-users] changed internal ip address. now no audio On 7/27/10 4:55 PM, Tony Graziano wrote: > Local subnets page was changed? > yes, I am hoping this is fixed in 'internet Calling-> Intranet Subnets' (which I have set) where else would it be? maybe a BIG red warning when a neebie sets one of these up: YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE PRIVATE IP ONCE YOU START. -- Michael Scheidell, CTO Phone: 561-999-5000, x 1259 > *| *SECNAP Network Security Corporation * Certified SNORT Integrator * 2008-9 Hot Company Award Winner, World Executive Alliance * Five-Star Partner Program 2009, VARBusiness * Best in Email Security,2010: Network Products Guide * King of Spam Filters, SC Magazine 2008 ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned and certified safe by SpammerTrap(r).
