Struggling with a sip trunk provider where polycom cancels after the 183
message. The only thing different I see between this and other providers is
the SDP feilds.

This provider sends the codec in the media description but I do not see a
corresponding Media attribute for the codec. Is that valid? For example, the
sdp looks this:

v=0
o=PITPACT-SBC-01 513746131 513746131 IN IP4 67.158.102.9
s=sip call
c=IN IP4 67.158.102.250
t=0 0
m=audio 31788 RTP/AVP 0 101
a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000
a=ptime:20

As all other vendors send me somthing like this:

v=0
o=root 13348 13348 IN IP4 64.2.142.18
s=session
c=IN IP4 64.2.142.18
t=0 0
m=audio 10188 RTP/AVP 0 101
a=rtpmap:0 PCMU/8000
a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000
a=fmtp:101 0-16
a=silenceSupp:off - - - -
a=ptime:20
a=sendrecv

See how the "good" provider sends me the media description with it set to G711
but also as an attribute?

Its the only thing I can see why the polycom is canceling the call. And if
this is the case, is this a valid response.

Thanks,
Matt
