Do you have support from nortel/avaya on their products? Have you glanced
through the JIRA with your phone model to see their notes?

Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Music on Hold not working

I don't see anything wrong with my tone. I have waited for 3 days while
people who say "Your product is crap" get their issues resolved. I have
helped another list member with several of his issues 1 on 1. I have
"bumped" my post once.

These phones were sold as part of the Nortel SCS 500 package. MOH worked
perfectly when we were running SCS 3.0

What is the basic setup for MOH? I have read "turn off MOH for the phones,
turn it on for the conference bridge, etc." in my searching, but no
step-by-step "how to" configure it out of the box.

I have found the newest available firmware from a list member but have not
pushed it out to all the phones yet. I will do that and test MOH.

As far as "Jira" and "bug reporting": where is the how-to process on that
procedure?

I feel like I've fallen into a "Sipx Jungle" with no map and no guide. I've
found that the wiki is less than helpful for most of these features.
Is there a good write-up somewhere that will help me out?

Also, about the BLF. What should I be looking for there "in general" (not
phone-specific)?

Thank you for your responses, gentlemen,

Danny

Posting responses with that tone isn't exactly going to get you a rosy
response on the issue.

Most people on this list don't run those phones so it may be a while before
you get a response on this. If you have seen evidence that newer firmware
revisions will help with your issues then my suggestion is to find the
firmware or pay a reseller for it.
