no argument from me. too much that doesn't see unless it spans a shell in a
browser and logs it for you automatically.

The update from browser might have been better designed to act as a firmware
update. grab the tgz (or whatever the entire package would have been),
downloaded it, expanded it, replaced the packages and then forced a reboot,
which could be timed, to make it more 'appliance like'.

"There is new firmware available, would you like to download it now?": [yes]
or [no] yes
"downloading 184MB tgz file "sipxecs-4.x.x-x64.tgz": 10 20 30... 100
"OK, do you want to apply these or cancel?": [apply] or [cancel] apply
"reboot now or later [now] or [later] in order to begin using them": later
"ok, what time do you want to reboot?" [02:00]: 03:00
