fwiw -- the opensips folks created a VM (vmware) appliance. They wont even tell you in the download what the hardware version is or what the login url is for the control panel or username/password.
It's based on debian so you have to manually edit the IP and restart. http;//<ip_address>/cp admin:admin I got one here, but haven't configured it yet.
