I believe the correct way to handle incoming call routing based on number dialed is through custom dial-plans: Go to System-->Dial Plans then under the "Add New Rule" drop-down select "Custom" check "Enabled" Give it a descriptive name If no part of the number contains the extension you want to forward the call to, enter the entire number as the "Prefix" under "Dialed Number" and leave the number of digits drop-down set to "0 digits" Do not check anything under "Required Permissions" In the "Dial" text box under "Resulting Call" enter the extension you want dialed (could be an Auto Attendant) and append "Nothing" Under "Gateways", select the gateway this call comes in on from the "More actions..." drop-down Click "OK" The above works if you want a DID such as 1-234-555-5555 to route to extension 100. Just enter 12345555555 as the "Prefix" and 100 in the "Dial" text box. However, if the last 3 digits of 1-234-555-5555 are the extension, you would enter 12345555 as the "Prefix", select "3 digits" in the drop-down, leave "Dial" empty and select "Matching suffix" from the append drop-down under "Resulting Call". Hope that makes sense. Stiles _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
