In short yes, see the wiki for XMPP and BRIA, there is a fix or two that need to get implemented so bria uses the proper internal network settings to send out the proper internal address when registering.

SRV records must be working in both private/public modes depending on where the client is. Presence without XMPP must be set for peer to peer. There a a slew of fixes coming out for bria provisioning, but thats not released yet.
