I knew I was eventually going to run into a client that has a callmanager system they are looking to ditch but would like to keep the phones so I've got to brush up on my Cisco. My questions to those that use Cisco phones are:
* What features are lost when converting from SCCP to SIP on 79x0 and 79x1 series phones? According to http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/7962g_7961g_7961g-ge_7942g_7941g_7941g-ge/8_0/english/administration/guide/62614241apxb.html the feature parity is getting pretty close now but I'd like to hear from others that have deployed sipX. * What doesn't work with sipX on these phones? * What is the latest firmware supported for these phones that works properly with sipX?
