Just to throw in my $.02. 3.2.1b with bootrom 4.3 has been working well for me also.

Henry, you can spin up sipxecs in virtual box for testing purposes... i wouldn't suggest running your production environment on 4.4 or 4.3.2 at this point.

Problem is we need a stable version, because it has to work in
        production.

So I need it to work in 4.2.1 or a newer stable version J

        Henry,

What polycom firmware? Do you have the ability to test on the
version of sipXecs I was testing on?

I don't have the time at the moment to build and test on a
        4.2.1 system... sorry.

        I’m using soundpoints a 430 and 330.

        I also have 2 vvx 1500’s

And 2 aastra’s, but I know there are issues with aastra and
        call pickup.

Both scenario 1 and 2 are not working for me.

I checked with wireshark, and the request *78300 is answered
        with a 404 not found.

I ran a test because I had never tried this before...

        Setup 2 polycom 650's (ext 200 & 201) with firmware 3.2.1b and
        a Counterpath bria 3.1.2.1 (ext 202) client.

        sipXecs: 4.4 pre-beta [0.4.4-5b9dc0c 2010-11-23T05:32:07
build33] (that's for everyone's benefit that thinks 4.4 is in
        beta yet)

        Scenario 1 (working):

Hunt Group: 300 - contains ext 200 & 201, rings both at the
        same time.

Extension 200 dials extension 300, extension 201 rings (as
        expected).

Counterpath bria (202) dials *78300 and picks up ringing phone
and is talking to ext 200 (as expected).

Henry, you might want to test some Polycom Soundpoints if you
        have them.

        Scenario 2 (working):

        Users 200 & 201 are in hunt group 300.

        User 200 dials user 201.

Extension 202 (bria) dials *78300 and picks up ringing phone
and is talking to ext 200 (as expected).

Scenario 3 (not working, i've captured and sent to engineering):

Users 200 & 201 are in hunt group 300. User 200 set to ring
for 10 seconds and at the same time 201 is set to ring for 60
        seconds.

Ext 202 (bria) dials hunt group 300.

User 200 misses the call and then dials *78300. User picks up
the ringing phone and is connected to ext 202 but there is one
way audio from Polycom (200) to Bria (202).

I allready found the problem with doing an alias pickup.

Directed call pickup with *78 works just fine.

But when I try to pick up the same ringing phone with the same
phone as I did directed call pickup with, in a hunt group, it
        doesn’t work.

        I configured a hunt group with 3 phones let’s say: 201 202 and
        203 huntgroup is 300.

*78201 works fine with phone 203. But when 201 rings, *78300
        doesn’t work…

The lines are only configured on one phone.

Are you doing an alias pickup? or picking up the extension of
a ringing phone? whether by group or not, is the same line
registered on one or more phones involved?

        Hi all,

I know group call pickup is not supported as such in SipXecs.

        But I found a work-around

http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-4775?focusedCommentId=53934#action_53934
        provided by Dale.

I tried this but with no luck.

I’m using 4.2.1 and only polycom phones.

What can I be doing wrong?

        Kind regards,
