Hi Kyle, Thanks for the quick reply :)
So you have DHCP and DNS on both sipx boxes? It would seem to me you only need one DHCP right? My DNS, DHCP, NTP and TFTP are all on the master server. The setup is not situated at our office but with a client, so I need to check how the IP-helper is setup. Could you provide some information about setting up this HA-system? For instance what do I have to setup on my sipXecs servers? And how should the IP-helper be configured? Thanks in advance :) Kind regards, Henry Dogger Telecats BV -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kyle Haefner Sent: dinsdag 4 januari 2011 0:26 To: Discussion list for users of sipXecs software Subject: Re: [sipx-users] redundancy issue Hi Henry, We have a multi-vlan set-up and redundancy works for us. We also use the ip-helper address in Cisco to forward DHCP. I run both DHCP and DNS from the SIPX boxes, DHCP gives out both DNS servers, NTP servers, tftp server Are your ACLs open to both boxes and to all the phone vlans?
