Polycom firmware 3.2.4 is finally out

quick question: split vs combined.. why? and why not?

I ASSUME that since cisco's phones can download a different FW per phone, and poly can't, you SHOULD: Load the 'legacy' firmware (my 301's and 4000 should run 3.16 just fine), reboot those, the 650's and 335's won't load it (i hope!)

then load 3.2.4 and let the 650's and 335's update? 301's and 4000's either won't try to load 3.2.4, or won't load it.

this won't brick any of the phones, will it?

My initial tests haven't had any issue. With any luck I'll be upgrading all phones on my install relatively soon.
