Hi, all, I continued to investigate my problem. And i found that when a call with that bloody ";phone-context=cdp.udp" in the user part of request uri is coming to "hostname" (which is configured as sip domain alias), that is host part of uri is "hostname", then "Strip User Parameters" checkbox WORKS! Here is a fragment from registrar log: "2011-01-28T08:05:58.650114Z":777:SIP:DEBUG:beaver.sip.nstel.ru:SipRedirectServer-13:B63EFB90:SipRegistrar:"SipRedirectServer::processRedirect Starting to process request URI 'sip:3892;[email protected]'" "2011-01-28T08:05:58.650142Z":778:SIP:INFO:beaver.sip.nstel.ru:SipRedirectServer-13:B63EFB90:SipRegistrar:"[090-USERPARAM] SipRedirectorUserParam::lookUp stripped parameters from '3892;phone-context=cdp.udp' -> '3892'"
But beaver.sip.nstel.ru is the hostname (configured as sip domain alias), while sip domain is sip.nstel.ru. But when the call "is coming to sip domain" 'Strip User Parameters' checkbox does not work. Here is another fragment from registrar log: "2011-01-28T07:42:00.733352Z":13325:SIP:DEBUG:beaver.sip.nstel.ru:SipRedirectServer-13:B62EFB90:SipRegistrar:"SipRedirectServer::processRedirect Starting to process request URI 'sip:3892;[email protected]'" "2011-01-28T07:42:00.733377Z":13326:SIP:DEBUG:beaver.sip.nstel.ru:SipRedirectServer-13:B62EFB90:SipRegistrar:"[090-USERPARAM] SipRedirectorUserParam::lookUp 'sip:3892;[email protected]' not in my domain - not modified" Is it a bug or is it expected behaviour? Should i create a jira for it? For example, convert 'sip:user;[email protected]' to 'sip:[email protected]' when the local domain is 'example.com'. that is this checkbox is intended to do exactly what i need - remove ";phone-context=cdp.udp" from the request uri. (Or may be more precisely would be: registrar will disregard this string). So... is this checkbox known to work in 4.2.1? In 4.2.0? in 4.4.0? Are there any users that use sipx with SC1000? Any ideas how to solve the problem would be greatly appreciated. The problem is that CS1000 sends invite in the following form: INVITE sip:4002;phone-context=cdp.udp@"mydomain":5080;maddr=<ip addr>;transport=tcp;user=phone;x-nt-redirect=redirect-server SIP/2.0 and finally sipxregistrar answers "not found". As far as i understand the problem is in the ";phone-context=cdp.udp" string of the sip uri. In the maillist archive i found some discussions about that... sipx guru's said that the problem was on the cs1000 side. I found the checkbox "Strip User Parameters" in the registrar configuration. checked it. Nothing changed. I tried to route calls through sipxbridge and directly to sipxproxy. With the same result - "Not found". So can anybody please shed some light on the following: 1. Is it possible to solve the problem on the sipx side? 2. May be some special configuration is required on the CS1000 side? Can anybody please advise what to do? I'm ready to provide any additional info if needed. Thanks in advance, Nikolay.
