no, found the trick.
if I look at the phone on its GUI, it wants a different local port per
line.
line 1, 5060
line 2, 5062,
line 3, 5064,
line 4, 5066
decided its a three line phone after all.
in order to do an 'attended transfer' you need two lines.
hit line1 to answer to dial out.
decide to transfer.
hit line (x) 2? which puts line 1 on hold, and lets you dial destination.
if you want to transfer, you hit transfer button the line1. (which is a
conference call..) then hang up.
if line1 and line2 aren't the same user, then the person you are
transfering to doesn't see 'you', but sees the account#2, so,
if you want to use line3 and 4, you must set up an alias (second line)
as yourself on line2.
apparently the manual is so bad, there are several youtube examples and
a special faq.
