Small project for a 6 phone office, migrating from analog lines to external SIP.

Trying to get sipX dial plan to work with Voip.ms. It authenticates fine, and if I dial the string 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx, then the call goes through no problem, but... this has to be dialed this way regardless of whether its a local or long distance call. Is there a way to define the dial plan in sipX to prefix local 7 digit calls with the 1 and area code so that this works transparently for the client? I've experimented many different ways with the dial plan, and nothing seems to work.

Thanks in advance...

I always have a Auto Area Code dial plan.
