I have had success with both Atom and SSD on installations with under 20 phones. I get mine here: http://www.logicsupply.com/ I bleieve the processor I"m getting these days is a Intel Atom D525 (dual core) I have never had any issue. I pay more for the 32 GB SLC SSD drive, but I have never had any problems at all. Startup time is 20 seconds or so longer than a high end server. The machines I use are limited to 4 GB RAM. On larger deployments, that can be an issue.
