I upgraded two 64 bit 4.2.1 machines yesterday, andI had to change the 
repo file slightly.
I changed mine to this:
baseurl=http://download.sipfoundry.org/pub/sipXecs/4.4.0/CentOS_$releasever/x86_64/

I had to add the x86_64/ to the end of it. I'm not sure if I should have 
had to do that or not, but it didn't work without it, and that is what I 
visually saw when I looked at the site in a browser.
