I remember that our polycom phones took several minutes to boot when there was no default gateway configured on the SipX.
While receiving configuration files from the ftp server the phones connect several times and each login takes 20 seconds. That’s because the vsftp tries to reverse lookup the hostname of the phone. Adding reverse_lookup_enable=NO into /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf and restarting it with /etc/init.d/vsftpd restart solved it. Regards Jan _____________________________ Jan Fricke B.Sc. Cs.
