I've had this happen multiple times on various versions (It happened to me
about a week ago on a vanilla 4.4 from the iso). It seems to happen when I've
been making changes to sipXecs a day or two before (I know, sounds weird).

Rebooting would fix it for a day or two - then it would do it again.

Sending server profiles and restarting the services fixes the problem (until I
make several changes again...).

So now I'm in the habit of sending profiles and restarting services after I
make a significant number of changes (AA/hunt groups/etc.).

Nope, just a plain vanilla installation. Guess I'll take a look at the logs and
see if they can tell me why.

Time issues can.
Do you have any time synch scripts, routines, cron jobs, etc?

New installation, 3 Polycom 550's and 5 8020 wifi's, all the phone

Checked all my servers and they were running but restarted them all and the
phones re-registered and came back online. Why would the phones not re-register?
