Just checking, do you have good luck with these phones? I believe they
were discontinued and I tried out the 7800. I had horrible problems with
it and couldn't find any decent documentation. There were spelling
mistakes on the LCD menus as well. I didn't realize until this post that
any support for Unidata phones had been added to sipx.

Hi All,
The current phone plug in for the Unidata WPU-7700 phone does not work in 4.4.0
of 2011-04-19.
The .jar file is not the correct version.
To solve this do the following:
# cd /usr/share/java/sipXecs/sipXconfig
# mv unidata-phones.jar unidata-phones.jar.old
and copy the attached unidata-phones.jar into /usr/share/java/sipXecs/sipXconfig
If you use the standard template settings, I strongly suggest to set the sip
timers to either 0 (=off) or to much longer values than the current 500 msec.
Actually they should be something like 64 times the expected roundtrip time for
the phone, which could be quite long due to power saving in the WiFi.
Good luck!
