Much has been said on this forum pertaining shutting off all sip aware filtering. Is sip aware filtering only an issue when using sipxbridge for sbc? If yes, would using and unmanaged sbc on another box make it possible for me to turn on sip aware filters? ________________________________________ The difficulty is that many (seemingly, *all*) SIP ALG code is faulty. The exception seems only to be devices that are sold as SIP ALGs specifically. But within NAT and router devices, the SIP ALGs are very troublesome, and SIP systems (PBXs especially) can perform the needed NAT compensation.
