I'll attest to that - I used them to do some voice mail transcription on my 
sipXecs voicemail...the results were horrible (usually funny, but not usable).

google for previous testing results before you get too far.  folks were 
disappointed w/quality of recognition of pocketsphinx.

not really, just know that all the configuration is read from
