You might look at Lumenvox or Vestec.  They are both low(er) cost commercial 
ASR vendors that support Freeswitch through MRCP.  Note that these are NOT 
dictation products, they are for creating speech applications that respond to 
spoken caller inputs.

I have not used either one, nor ever tried speech recognition on Freeswitch--my 
experience was with expensive VoiceXML and ASR stuff from vendors like Nuance 
and Speechworks (now gobbled up by Nuance).   But I would expect you could get 
decent results from these products if you design your applications and grammars 
well.
