I have sipXecs 4.4 setup with a bandwidth.com sip trunk. We have Polycom
550 phones running 3.2.5. I'm using the default setting for the
bandwidth.com trunk.

Step 1: Dial internal line from external phone line.
Step 2: Answer internal phone.
Step 3: Put the call on hold. External users hears music on hold as defined
by the phone.
Step 4: Resume the call. External user is reconnected and audio works.
Step 5: Put the call on hold. External user hears the music as defined by
the phone, but this time it cuts out a little first and/or is extremely
garbled.
Step 6: Resume the call. Polycom soft keys don't change back to normal soft
keys (only End Call is shown.) External user keeps hearing hold music.
After about 15 seconds the music on hold stops for the external user. After
about 45 more seconds both lines are giving the busy tone.

When I remove the [email protected] line from the Polycom's line registration
configuration, the problem does not occur. I tried disabling music on hold
on the sip trunk while leaving the Polycom's music on hold enabled and the
problem presented in the same way.

When I try the same thing with 2 internal extensions the music on hold is
played the first time the user is put on hold, but not the 2nd time. This
doesn't, however, cause the call to drop.

Is there a way to remove the music on hold configuration from every phone
through group settings? When I try to edit my Polycom group, the music on
hold field is already blank. I'm assuming this is because that
configuration takes into account the User's preferences.

Has anyone else observed similar behavior with this setup? Is this a bug
with polycom, sipxecs, or do I have something misconfigured? I can collect
packet captures and logs, so let me know if they would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,
