FYI, from Polycom
Me: "is the Spectralink 8440 the model that I heard about that was built on the Soundpoint sip stack, or is it the same as the 8020"
Polycom: "Yes, the 8440 and 8450 phones are built on the SPIP stack."

Was that 8440 (not 8040)?
I am running into issues now with my 8020s that may force me to chunk them. Is the 8440 the line that was supposed to be based on the Soundpoint sip stack?

I am supposed to be receiving some 8040's for test and evaluation. I'll add something to the wiki when I get it completed. I have not received a timeframe yet though.
