You can point a voxitas DID at a sipxecs 4.4 server using unified messaging.
I do that with voxitas now.

I can also use a patton fxs port on a smartnode gateway to receive via paper
(i register the fxs with sipx) and send out via voxitas. the patton
smartnode is t.38 capable and is configured for it.

I think of you were to do either of these things, it would work.

Voxitas is not unusual that the DID/account has to be provisioned over a
different route (where they can better guarantee t.38) becuase a lot of
ITSP's don;t support t.38. Trying to fax over g711 is a joke. If you don't
request it, it doesn't happen automatically.
