That's what I've come up with also but figured it was worth asking as sometimes, there are things which aren't very well documented. I was initially looking at flash based but flash cannot access the devices mic's and cameras. Then I started looking at AIR but there aren't many AIR based solutions. I am basically trying to tie web users and mobile users together.
