Right now there is no way to set the preferences for a group of users. Here's what I am talking about:
Users by default have been created with an email attachment type of "Full". There is no way to set preferences to an already configured user or group of users to change the default setting to "Brief" and/or to attach the audio file, etc. I think it would be worthwhile to expose this type of setting in Unified messaging to user groups (IM is, but voicemail is not). Does anyone see a reason this should not be brought up and submitted as an enhancement? *** Voicemail notification The voicemail messages can be attached to the notification e-mail or not. If the synchronization option is selected, the voicemail messages will be attached. E-mail format This controls the format of the email sent for voicemail message notification. The formats are: Attach audio *** I also think it's worthwhile to consider adding an "extension range" for FAX that mirrors the user line. i.e. 200-299 for users, but admin can define 300-399 for fax. Creating user 200 should auto populate 300 for fax...
