I like the concept of being able to set group level preferences of any sort. For the larger installs, it ensures consistency.
For VM's, I would consider the additional group option of deleting the voicemail immediately after email delivery. Yes, this has been discussed before as a risk, but a lot of folks at my location don't care to manage voicemail from email as well as through the GUI or Phone interface a second time to get rid of the flashing light. A mirrored extension range for FAX would be a great addition.
