I have this issue occassionally. It seems to happen when I make a "large
number" of changes (dial plan/aa/call forwarding/etc.) And I neglect to 'send
profiles' to the server (or whatever it is called). When i forget, the next
day, everything has lost registration and nothing works. If I send server
profiles, phones start registering again. I've noticed this since 4.0 - maybe
even in 3.10?

Are the phones remote?

If not the phones need to be defaulted and the config loaded from sipx. You
also need to look at the system resources and make sure you are not using swap.

If port 5060 is nat'd then you should look at your registrar logs for an
equivalent ddos attack.

I have a system setup for testing and after a while my
phones simply loose their registration. I have two Polycom
331's setup and they will be working fine. Last night they
were working and when I woke up they just say URL Call
Disabled when you try to go off hook. In the registrations
screen they show expired.

I would assume it has to do with a reg timer of some kind,
but just don't know where to begin with this issue.

Thanks!
